Takashimaya celebrates 25 years in Singapore and they've revamped their beauty hall. The event focused on the theme, #UnveilANewFace, where they shared some of the new and unique counters at Takashimaya.
The revamp of the beauty hall was done with their customers in mind to create a luxurious experience for them! Some of these upgrades include creating a wide walkway and beauty counters, and streamling pillars to enhance visibility, so you can actually see most of the brand logos easily!
Some of the exclusive new brands that can only be found in Takashimaya are:
• Chantecaille - A luxury, animal cruelty-free company from New York that is committed to nature and environmental conservation.
• Hera - A popular cosmetics brand from Korea that is known for their BB Cushions and Toners!
• MDNA SKIN - Created alongside the pop queen, Madonna, MDNA SKIN skincare line harnesses the power of mineral rich thermal waters and volcanic clay from Montecatini to achieve the golden balance for radiant and lifted skin.
Other newly introduced brands at Takashimaya include popular brands such as Fresh, Three, Tom Ford and History of Whoo! They also created counters with exclusive concepts for Albion, Cle De Peau and Estee Lauder Aerin Fragrance. Of course, popular brands like Sulwahsoo, Shiseido and YSL are still available at Takashimaya too!
Bloop, an Australian nail polish brand is also available at Takashimaya! I had an opportunity to try their fast drying nail polishes and a nail polish stamp at the event. While nail polish stamps not something new in the market, what's interesting about their stamper, is that it is transparent with a magnifying glass so you can position the stamp to stamp at the exact position you desire.
Jade Seah brought us around the beauty hall and the first stop was Hera where Hera's Korean Makeup Artist, Lee Sehyoung, gave us a demo of Hera products. I first learnt about this brand when I visited Korea a few years back as it was one of the go-to brands for BB cushions. Today, their BB Cushions are still popular and I love the range of lip colours they carry!
Beauty Tip: Puff up your cheeks (like a pufferfish) when applying foundation if you want to hide your pores!
Next up was the Fresh beauty counter where we got to learn about the latest masking trend - Binge Masking, where you use a combination of different types of masks consecutively. Btw, did you know that Fresh's new Lotus Youth Preserve Rescue Mask only requires you to leave it on for 5 minutes? It's like the perfect mask for the busy bees!
Lastly it was the Albion counter where Makeup Artist, Ginger Lynette, shared a makeup demo using Albion products. I was quite impressed by some of their powders that were super waterproof!
That's all for the event, do check out the new beauty counters at Takashimaya when you have the time. Thank you Takashimaya and Marie Alexander PR for having me at the event. I'm gonna try these goodies soon! :)
