Epoxy grouting is waterproof, stain-resistant, and super durable - meaning less scrubbing for you and fewer unwelcome houseguests. Plus, with epoxy grout, you can ditch the boring white and choose from a variety of colors to match your style and give your home that extra touch of "bougie." So, if you're looking for a low-maintenance, insect-repelling, and aesthetically pleasing solution for your tiles, epoxy grout is the way to go!
There are so many epoxy grouting brands out there so you might wonder why Grout Protech. The answer is simple - it's so much more than just epoxy and aesthetics, and there are much deeper reasons why we chose Grout ProTech and why we think you should seriously consider this upgrade:
Knowledgeable: From the get-go, the Grout ProTech crew was top-notch. Desmond was in-charge of our project and came over for a free onsite color consultation and grout assessment. He patiently answered all our questions and helped us choose the perfect shades to complement our tiles, making us feel like we had a personal grout designer!
High Quality: Unlike the basic, porous grout that comes standard (and stains like nobody's business), Grout ProTech uses a magical concoction of hybrid epoxy grout indoors and polyaspartic epoxy grout outdoors. Their premium grout is stain-resistant, scratch-proof, and won't peel – ensuring your grout stays pristine for years (yes to no more stains or scrubbing!). We were particularly impressed by the fact that their white grout is made with high-quality polyaspartic epoxy (not all grouting companies use this by the way), meaning it won't turn yellow over time like cheaper alternatives. This is so important cause we have quite a bit of white walls in our home.
Workmanship: Unlike some companies that merely apply a layer of epoxy grouting over the old grouts, these guys are so meticulous and thorough. They removed a layer of the old grout or ensured there is a porous grout base before applying epoxy grouting, ensuring maximum adhesion and a flawless finish. Fun fact - this is really important cause epoxy grouting requires porous grout as a base so there is something it can stick to so it won't peel. The team even spotted some dodgy tile work that our ID missed and saved us from a whole lot of trouble down the road as we could get them to rectify the tiles first. Plus, Grout Protech offers a local warranty on their work, giving you peace of mind.
We went all in – every single tiled surface in our BTO got regrouted by Grout ProTech, from kitchen walls and floor, bathroom walls and floors, service yard floor and even our concrete sink base. You could choose to regrout before or after reno, so even if you are not a new homeowner and you are tired of scrubbing grouts, this is your sign to get them regrouted.
We highly recommend this as the transformation was just wow. Regrouting might seem like a small detail, but it totally levelled up the look of our home. Many of our neighbours did the same too. Our grout lines are now crisp, clean, and match our tiles perfectly, giving our home a more high-end, cohesive look. We don't need to worry about spills too since they wipe up without a trace. Plus we no longer have to worry about scrubbing or creepy crawlies coming out from cracked porous grouts. Here are some before and after photos!
If you're looking to level up your new BTO (or any home, really), don't underestimate the power of regrouting. And if you want it done right, Grout ProTech is the way to go. Their expertise, attention to detail, and high-quality materials are worth every penny. You won't regret it!
