Buying your first home is exciting, right? Picking out paint colors, furniture, appliances... it's all a dream! But let me tell you, amidst all that excitement, there are a few hidden landmines. And one of them, surprisingly, turned out to be curtains and blinds.

My husband and I, like many new homeowners, thought choosing curtains would be a breeze. "Just pick something that matches the walls and call it a day," we thought. Oh, how wrong we were! Turns out, there's a whole world of curtain knowledge we were clueless about. Day curtains vs. night curtains? Ripple fold vs. pleated? Opacity of the curtains? It was enough to make our heads spin.

Thankfully, we stumbled upon coesa (formerly End Curtain), and they completely saved us from a potential curtain nightmare.

He basically gave me a crash course in Curtain 101.

One of the toughest decision was to decide if we wanted double pleated day and night curtains or one layer of ripple fold curtains. Jason very patiently guided us through and we took his advice to have day curtains with thermal shaping for the living room and night curtains for the bedrooms. Both single layer as it gives a more minimalist look that would suit our home design and would serve the purpose they are needed for.
